Martin Klein

Martin Klein is the Founder and former President of Klein Associates, Inc. (now L-3/Klein) of Salem, New Hampshire. An MIT graduate, he was Program Manager for Sonar Systems at E.G.& G. International where he developed the first commercially successful side scan sonar systems. Klein's sonars have been used around the world to help find many famous shipwrecks including the Titanic, the Atocha, the Lusitania, the Edinburgh, the DeBraak, the Breadalbane, the Hamilton and Scourge, the Lake George Radeau (oldest warship in the U.S.) and countless others. He was chosen as the New Hampshire Small Business Person of the Year in 1983. He is a fellow of the Explorers Club and the Marine Technology Society and is the former Director of Budget and Finance for the Marine Technology Society. He was elected to the National Academy of Engineering "for the development of underwater imaging systems that have contributed to ocean exploration and the recovery of high value objects." He is credited with numerous publications and patents and has received many awards and frequent recognition for his pioneering work in sonar and ocean exploration.

Andy Solem

Mr. Solem heads the newly established China Sales region for Bombardier Commercial Aircraft. Before joining Bombardier, Mr. Solem was with Lockheed Martin as Corporate Vice President, New Business Initiatives. Previously, he was a senior executive with General Electric (GE), and led Global Product Management & Marketing teams for several GE business areas. Earlier roles which contributed to Mr. Solem's business acumen in the Asia-Pacific region include his tenures as President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Transportation China, and as President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Infrastructure China, based in Shanghai. He also served for over two years in GE Engine Services as Vice President, North Asia Region, which includes Japan, Korea and Greater China. A former U.S. Air Force officer, Mr. Solem is fluent in Japanese and has working knowledge of Mandarin Chinese. A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering, he also holds a Masters of Science degree in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Tokyo where he attended under a Japanese Ministry of Education scholarship program. Mr. Solem has extensive experience working in China and the Asia-Pacific region, and has more than 25 years of aviation experience.

Karl Tucker

Mr. Tucker is currently a Vice President at State Street Corporation where he advises senior management on a number of strategic issues including relative performance, acquisitions, and strategic investments in financial technology companies. Previously, at LEK Consulting and Strategic Decisions Group (SDG), Mr. Tucker advised corporations and private equity investors on new businesses and potential investments. In these roles, he performed strategic due diligence on potential acquisitions in a number of industries including transportation, retail, chemicals, apparel, utilities, oil and gas, insurance, health care, and industrial equipment. Mr. Tucker has also been an entrepreneur and founded a wireless media venture in 2001. A former U.S. Air Force officer, Mr. Tucker was awarded Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Aeronautical Engineering by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Mr. Tucker also holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

David Dahn

Mr. Dahn is a 20-year Tax professional with significant experience in international, federal and state strategy, implementation, compliance, and audit management at the Executive level. David is able to leverage strategic vision balanced with business pragmatism to obtain proven results. David has served as an officer of a public company, represented numerous clients in front of the IRS and other revenue agencies, and his broad and deep background in international finance, operations, treasury, and tax afford him the ability to balance multiple sensitivities in arriving at appropriate courses of action. David is also a published writer, accomplished presenter (Harvard Graduate School, Boston College Graduate School), and successful entrepreneur.

Wayne Roberts

Mr. Roberts is the founder and president of Tough Jets LLC, designer and manufacturer of the Tough Jets T-14 fun scale, radio controlled propjet. Former owner of Seagoon Boat Building, Mr. Roberts designed and manufactured the "Narwhal" 16-foot sea kayak. He also designed "Scooter", a dolphin-shaped, jet-propelled, underwater tow-scooter for which he holds a patent. Having taught aviation history, aircraft design, boat building, and Robotics, as well as classes on building alternative energy vehicles, Mr. Roberts also taught the design, construction, and operation of G.A.T.S. (Guided Aquatic Telepresence System), a remotely piloted underwater vehicle. His Aviation Project and Automobile Project classes won GPEPC Excellence in Education awards during his tenure in the Portsmouth Alternative Secondary School. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Roberts rose to the rank of staff sergeant and was a Chief Mechanic on F-4 Phantoms and FB-111s.
